Tre Monti Sangiovese "Campo di Mezzo" 2023

$29.90

Sangiovese is Italy’s quintessential red grape and is grown in most of its 20 regions.  The coastal area of Romagna, to the east of Bologna, yields a more fruit-forward, less tannic, and generous expression of the grape compared to many other areas.   This wine is a blend of fruit grown on their sites near Forli’ along with the particular Sangiovese gentile typical of Ravenna. It presents dark fruit redolent of sweet violets, delivering succulent flavours of cherry on the palate.
